A Midsummer Night's Dream
A Midsummer Night's Dream
Midsummer Night's Dream was the fall show for the 2021-2022 season, this was also the first fully produced production since the beginning of Covid. This show consisted of a large center raked platform, a platform with rotating flats against the upstage wall, a removable dropcloth, and many silk drapes; including six with actuator releasing dropboxes.

The most complex part of this show was finding ways to capture fabric to act as a ceiling and hold it until critical moments of the show where the silk is released and flows to the floor, becoming additional drapery. This was accomplished with friction pads attached to the catwalk and being released by spot operators by rope pull.
